In order to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, we put a large hand-knotted carpet in an incredible deep terracotta hue over the existing terracotta flooring in this cozy small family room. The refined elm wood used for the custom-made desk and library adds a touch of elegance and depth to the space and blend perfectly with the lime painted walls. The green sofa provides contrast to the earthy colours.
